Is Everything So Chinese?

Whenever you think of gambling, the idea of thinking Chinese is not too far from the first few options. So then why are the casinos around the world ramping up on their Chinese decor? You guessed it, because of the Chinese.

Well what can you do when one sixth of the world happens to be Chinese, and they happen to be notorious gamblers. They love their baccarat, they have their superstitions about blackjack and are starting to play texas holdem. Casinos love them and paint their decor towards them. Can you imagine casinos suddenly donning green to work with the Irish? or maybe black for the folk from New Zealand?

It just doesn't seem to sit right. Wherever you go you are going to see plenty of the number eight, red and plenty of round objects rather than sharp objects. Seems like everybody else thinks that it is just customary to see casinos do it, so soon it will just be part of going to the casino like eating beef and black bean sauce or mongolian lamb.
